WHAT WE DO
POPUP’s vision is to transform and upskill people so that they can find employment and impact their world. We firmly believe that transformation should take place holistically, impacting the heart, hands and mind of the person in such a way as to transform them from the inside out, resulting in a changed person who can positively impact their immediate surroundings, their households, extended families, communities and the country.
POPUP functions within the following value framework:
Establishing the Lordship of Christ in every area of society.
Pursuing opportunities to partner with others, both in and outside the organisation, to optimise effectiveness.
To appreciate and respect the gifts of others and to synchronise capacity to be more effective together.
Living without pretence, tradition or imitation. Presenting yourself in an authentic way.
Reproduction, not just celebrating the gift of an individual but focusing on the developing of a next generation.
Having a constant desire to grow and develop to new levels in your own person in character and competency.
To do things in a way that brings glory to God and inspires people.
WHO IS INVOLVED?
POPUP has been in operation since 2000 and as a result we have built a strong network of community support. POPUP strongly believes in forming partnerships and networks as it creates synergy to the benefit of all concerned. Since 2016 POPUP has maintained its achievement of a level 1 contributor to B-BBEE
Since its inception POPUP has flourished due to involvement from many individuals whom have supported POPUP in a variety of ways through volunteering, prayer support, financial and other donations. Pray for POPUP individually or at your cell group. Donate clothing and non-perishable food.
POPUP depends on its many volunteers, whom have greatly increased our capacity to deliver the services and the ministry of POPUP.
At POPUP we regularly measure the impact of our programmes and services and as such have received recognition from many quarters for our contribution towards the upliftment of people and enabling learners to find employment.
