CHAIRPERSON: GERHARD VAN GREUNEN
 Gerhard is a chartered accountant by profession and is currently the General Manager of the Doxa Deo group of churches in South Africa and abroad. He has 18 years business experience.
BOARD MEMBERS MULLER VAN LOGGERENBERG (Treasurer)
Muller studied at the University of Pretoria where he completed his B.Com (HONS) Accountancy and obtained a CTA from UNISA. After completing his articles he started in the forestry and timber industry as an internal auditor. Before joining Doxa Deo in 2004, he was a financial manager in the timber industry in Mpumalanga. Muller and his wife Carol-Anne completed their theology studies in 2006 and serve at the Doxa Deo East Campus. Muller is currently the Financial Director of the Doxa Deo group. In this role he serves on the Board of Governing elders of the various congregations and is also a member of the Educational Trust and director of other legal entities of Doxa Deo.
MARLENE FREISLICH
Marlene Freislich graduated from the University of Pretoria receiving a B.A.(Hons) Degree in Social Work (Cum Laude) and has subsequently attained post-graduate qualifications in the fields of Management Development as well as Public Relations. For a number of years Marlene held the position of Area Manager (Gauteng) and Provincial Director of the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) before moving on to become the Senior Manager: Marketing and Business Development at Radio Pulpit prior to being appointed as the CEO of POPUP in February 2005 - a position she still holds.
GERRIT HEYMANS
Gerrit Heymans graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1990 receiving a B.Com (Hons) - CTA degree and a year later passed the qualifying exam of the Public Accountants and Auditor’s Board before completing his articles with Coopers and Lybrand. He has held a number of senior management positions in the financial departments of organisations such as Elliot International and Doxa Deo. Gerrit is currently the Financial Director of Panda Confection.

ANKIA DU PLESSIS
Ankia du Plessis attained a B.A. (Social Work) degree at the Rand Afrikaans University in 1996 and also completed a programme in Human Resource Management (Cum Laude) at the Centre for Business Management (UNISA) in 2002. She started her career with the Department of Health and Welfare as a Social Worker, moving on to become the Human Re-sources Manager for an IT and Telecoms Group of Companies. Since 2003 Ankia has been in the employ of Radio Pulpit, firstly as Human Resources Manager from 2003 to 2005 and subsequently (since August 2005) as the Group Manager: Support Services.
NON-EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS GEORGE MAHLOBO
 Pastor George Mahlobo completed a Theological Diploma at the Central Bible College before graduating from the University of South Africa with a B.Th Degree in 1984. He has been an ordained pastor of the AFM of SA since 1979 and served as presiding pastor in a number of churches across the country as well as being the Principal of the AFM of SA Theological Institute (1994-1996). George served in the following leadership positions in the AFM of SA: National Youth Leader, Secretary of the Committee of Unity, Secretary of the Presbytery, Secretary of the former AFM Liaison Committee, General Secretary of the former AFM African and General Secretary of the AFM Composite Division before being elected as the General Secretary of the AFM of SA after its unity in 1996 – a position he still holds to date.
CONVY BALOYI
 Convy Baloyi holds a Masters Degree in Public Management and several other national and international diplomas and certificates. He was extensively involved in Higher Education while holding the following positions at the former Technikon Northern Gauteng: Committee Officer, Advisor to the Vice-Rector Academic, Deputy Director: Coordination of Academic Programs, Quality Assurance Coordinator and International Officer: Ad-mission of Foreign Students (in liaison with SAQA). Convy currently serves as Deputy Registrar at the Tshwane University of Technology as well as being the Advisor to the University Registrar. He co-chairs the Religious Leadership Coordinating Committee, and the Mayoral Sub-Committee on Health, Environment and Social Welfare of the City of Tshwane. He is the founder of De Convy’s Consultancy which services organisations, governments and private sector/ business on leadership development, strategic planning, team development and policy development and implementation. |
