New developments
POPUP is set to embark on a second phase of development and training that will focus primarily on providing skills in the construction field and other skills related to South Africa’s critical and scarce skills list.
The venue that will be used for the second phase is situated North East of Pretoria, approximately 3 kilometers from Mamelodi on the Zambesi/Cullinan road.
POPUP’s current holistic approach will be continued in the second phase. The relevant social and medical support services will also be rendered there. Because of its life changing effect, the current Life Skills programme, will also be continued at the second phase.
POPUP Edendale skills programmes will include:
- Painting
- Bricklaying
- Plastering/Tiling/Glazing
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Paving
- Re-upholstery
- Arts & Crafts
